2006 - 2011 Strategic Planning… We want your input! The Almond Board of Australia is currently developing an industry-wide strategic plan for 2006 - 2011. The plan will set priorities for future R&D, Marketing and Promotions activities. It is important for all industry members to have input into development of the plan. Phil Herd from “Corporate Plans” has been appointed as facilitator of this process. You will soon re- ceive information, asking for input into development of the plan. Almond Industry Statistics The ABA is commencing an Almond Industry statistics collection program. The aim of this program is to generate accurate statistics for the Australian Almond Industry. First step in achieving this is an almond grower survey, collecting information about current and future almond plantings. Effectiveness of this program relies on input from all involved parties to enable improve statistics about our industry.
